i agree with Kitchenl7, we also used RV Alaska Tours. We highly reccommend Spike. He has a mechanic on staff, external defibrulator, satellitephone and vhf rdios for clients as well as wireless internet access via his portable setup.
To use or not use a caravan does bring out a lot of discussion.

Just like my Jayco Greyhawk 31SS that had mislabelled valves by model number. Our Greyhawk was listed under Granite Ridge with basement utilities.

Go to the Roadmaster website www.roadmasterinc.com and see what base plates are required for each model. If they're the same then transfer, if different number buy new ones. The tow bar will transfer to newer vehicle.

Water Problem
I have a 2004 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS. We are on our first road trip 2 days and 400 miles from home - here are the symptoms of my water problem. The outside shower nozzle does not deliver water (cold or Hot) when hooked to city H20 or pumped from the tank. The empty black water tank has filled to 2/3 - DW and I have not used it that much. The fresh water tank has gone from 2/3 full to 1/3 full. The gray tank still shows empty. Everything worked before we winterized. There is no water dripping or wet floors.
Any ideas what’s happening and suggestions to fix it?

The wife and I went with Spike, RV Alaska Tours, in 2006. We highly recommend the company. Spike is an historian and really cares for the people on his tours.
He also has a mechanic, sat phone and external defibulator as part of the tour services.

Yes I went on a caravan my first trip. We really enjoyed the safety in the herd the freindships formed. Next trip we will go on our own.

The first time we found the tour great - we are going back in 2008 by ourselves.
